Why I Made a Change

Share

I was working in an office job that felt like it was wasting my potential. I had always been entrepreneurial minded, and this job really seemed to be holding me back from what I wanted to do. After taking some time for self-reflection, and consulting with my family and friends, I realized it was time for me to make a change. It was scary at first, but now that change has led me here-to-the present moment. My new business is thriving because of all the hard work that has gone into it over these past few months. What started as an idea has finally become tangible due to people who believed in me when no one else did.

How I stay in the Present Moment

I have found that focusing on my breathing, especially when my mind starts to wander, helps me stay present. When I am feeling anxious or stressed, taking deep breaths and focusing on the moment in front of me can help me take control of my thoughts and diffuse negative emotions. It also helps me be kinder with myself when I am struggling with things because it reminds me that everything is okay in this very moment.

It’s easy for us to get lost in our thoughts about what happened or what we need to do next. But by being mindful of what is happening right now and being gentle with ourselves, we can enjoy life’s little moments while they are happening instead of waiting until it’s too late.
